The Rubbing House Covid-19 Response

We are open from the 5th of July and are now taking bookings

The safety of our staff and customers is paramount.

All our staff have received training on our Covid -19 policies and procedures.

Under changes we have made, our bar will have screens fitted at the till points, and we would encourage our customers to pay via contactless card transactions when possible, although cash will be accepted.

We have created social distancing dining areas inside and outside.

We will be providing all our staff with gloves , masks and protective eyewear, which will be made compulsory, subject to government guide lines. We will have hands free hand sanitizing units to the entrance of our restaurants, including the main entrance for our staff and customers to use. Guests will be asked to use them when entering the premises.

Every employee will need to complete and sign a daily health assessment questionnaire to confirm they are fit to work, which will include having their temperature taken using a digital thermometer, which will be recorded.

Dedicated staff will monitor the Rubbing House at all times in order to maintain social distancing standards.

Customer entry and exit will be marked out by floor stickers and barriers with clearly printed signage offering guidance to our guests as they enter our premises.

We will have a member of staff working full time to sanitise all contact points during opening hours, which will include door handles, card payment machines, hand rails and toilets.

Our staff have been trained to hand over drinks holding the base of the glass and by delivering drinks to tables on trays.

Food will be delivered to your table by a member of the floor staff.

We will be offering a slightly reduced menu and provide condiments in sachets rather than our usual method.

Due to Covid-19 opening times may differ from advertised.
